Four furballs


Hubby and I went for a walk through the park and along the prom last night. Typically I didn’t take the camera and could have got some really good shots, without using the zoom!

Coming up alongside the lake, the greylag family were swimming towards the bank, goslings ahead of the adults. Hubby and I stopped and started to talk to them as they got out of the water and approached us. The adult male (Canada goose) stood tall and proud of his offspring, but there was no aggression or hissy fit as we’ve had when we got too close, so we just stayed still and waited to see what the little ones would do.
They came within two feet of us, inquisitive little darlings, and Mum and Dad were content to let them.
